Sixshot, Scope could be 2.5 to 8 vs 6 but in the tight cover I hunt, I leave it on 2.5.

CT, I do like the HSM loads, every load I ever shot including the 454 stuff was very accurate. Being a handloader and hearing the performance of the Deep Curl, I have to try them. I will for sure keep the Bear Loads for the hogs if the water jug test does not pan out with the DC's. As far as off-hand, I need lots of trigger time to feel comfortable with such a long barrel and weight. My off-hand preference is a GP-100 in .44 Special with fiber optic front sight.
