Thanks all for the ideas. I will try to apply some of it to the two sticks I have. I like the trigger stick since they give me the height I need when standing. I thought the single leg might be the answer but keeping the two legs together gives me the same benefit plus keeps the foot from falling thru as suggested above and means I have the bipod benefit if needed before getting in the stand. Several of my stands are the older single, small ladder type so I have to lean back and extend arms out to get scope to full view. Now that I am committed to handguns, I will work to expand the doubles and build a few elevated boxes - and work on more freehand shooting. Thanks again to all.
