(no ranger finder back in that day). I remember this well, for ear protection I had those spongy squeeze type press in ear plugs. I could not get them in my ears in time, so I shot without ear plugs ? Ouch!! My ears rang for hours. The buck hit the ground like a sack of hammers DRT.
