There is an outfit up in Nebraska that make this bullet called an XTP. It does not lead your barrel or require lube. It is shaped like an ashtray and when it hits something solid it expand to 1.5 X its original diameter. They even put this little band on them that looks like the OD of a quarter that exact spot is where you crimp them.

I use them in almost everything I have.


Can you use a 38-40 cowboy bullet?

$10 /100 I would not cast and lube them for that.
