I shoot 85 grains of Blackhorn 209 behind a Thompson Center 240 grain all lead cheap shot in a sabot in my CVA Optima V2. It will shoot one inch groups at fifty yards.

I have killed seven deer with this gun in the last five seasons including on big six point last season.

Blackhorn does burn very clean and shoots well in my pistol. You can see photos of the deer from last season in my photos and on the bragging board.
