I would go with the Contender/G-2, as many people prefer it to the Encore frame with the BO. Personal preference.

IF, weight is your friend, go with the Encore, and it gives you less recoil and the ability to do even more barrel/chambering options.
I would go with a 14" barrel to a 15.9" barrel.
