what advantage does the .300 BO provide that the .30-30 or .30-30 AI don't?
Purely legality. 30-30 AI sounds like like an optimal setup to me. Works with factory ammo and plentiful brass and a little extra powder. If i hadn't found the 300bo specific barnes bullets I would likely be shooting one. As it is, I dont have a need for the increased performance for deer.
