Drew an early season management tag and decided to take the Bisley Hunter out. Took this doe at 45yds this weekend. It was hot, but she came out shortly before dark feeding on acorns on one of the few white oaks dropping acorns.  It is true. Deer are lapping up white oak acorns as fast as they are hitting the ground. Might be a long cold winter.
