Mech 8 is steering you right. The advantage of the 30mm MatchDot II is the 2 MOA Dot Size. When using the Red Dot you will need to be dialing the brightness down as the light fades. The UltraDot only has the one 4 MOA dot size. When you have dialed down to 1 the Bloom will be less with a 2 MOA dot than with the 4 MOA dot.
You will also want the 30 MM Tube size over the 1 Inch (25mm) Tube. You can see better through the 30mm Tube.

The MatchDot II also has an Exposed Elevation Knob that will allow you to dial in elevation corrections for longer shots. The only time that I have ever dialed in elevation was shooting steel at the range. The elevation adjustment seemed to be fairly accurate.

My advice is to get a 30mm MatchDot II or the 30mm UltraDot. I have not had one fail so far. I normally order from Heather at Ultradotwest.com
