wall tents, cots, fart sacks, cook your own meals, take care of your own game animals, sitting around a camp fire at night telling stories and building friendships. kind of roughing it instead of a lodge or hotel accommodations.
In the circles i run with we refer to that simply as tent camping, not primitive camping or hunting. It's my preference! Actually, it's all I've ever known.
