I've only managed a single coyote handgun kill, and that was an incidental encounter while deer hunting. Shot at a second one, but missed it because I didn't clear the muzzle from the hay bale I was hiding behind. For the purposes of trying to eliminate particularly problematic coyotes, I'm perfectly fine with using an AR-15 to hunt with, but I have been attempting to use my 327 Encore the past few times I've gone. Haven't managed anything yet, though, not in the least because I've had next to no free time since February.
