I would watch for a good deal on a 686 S&W if possible, they are a much better gun than the Rossi or Taurus. I should ask will this be a commited hunting gun or also a self defense gun? If it won't be a ccw gun I'd let her shoot your SBH with some light 44spcl loads to see if she likes the feel of a single action.
