I would think you would be fine loading the TSX with starting loads and working up. The TSX was designed to lessen the chmber pressure-thats what the bands are supposed to do. I love teh TSX and use it in ,y 308 and 30 caliber and 338 magnums. The old Barnes and Solids increased pressures dramatically becuse they were so much longer in comparison to others of identical weight. more bearing surface = higher pressure. JD Hones always cautioned with eht older barnes-I think he now endorses TSX.
