No it is not mine, but rather a good friends. One of my shooting buddies just ordered a New H-S Precision Pro 2000 Handgun. This is going to be the Silhouette Version without sights chambered for the .284 Winchester Cartridge. He went this route to keep the weight down (wouldn't have been my choice though, I like the looks of the Fluted Barrel on the Varmint version).

At any rate I will have to task of working up loads and loading the ammo for this new toy. It will wear a 3x12x Burris LER Handgun Scope. Jerry is looking at loading 140gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips, and hopes to be able to take a Whitetail at 400 yards.

This should be quite an experience, and one I am looking forward to. Now all I need is for his gun to get here, the weather to warm up, and oh yea for me to have two legs to walk on. 3 more weeks to go and I can throw the walker away (at least I hope so).

Part of the deal for Jerry to get this H-S Precision Handgun was I FINALLY got to buy his .223 Remington Rifle. Yes this is OFF TOPIC, but it is a special find. The .223 is a Remington Model 700 BDL Stainless-Synthetic 24" Barreled Sporter that was only produced for 2 years back in the early 90's. I have been after this rifle for ever, and have only ever seen 5 of them.

At any rate I will be getting to wring out a new .284 Handgun. Naybe this will push me over the edge and force me to get a .284 Encore.
