After putting in for a couple of years I drew a bighorn ewe tag! The unit close to my home and several others were closed to hunting this year due to die offs from sickness. The unit I drew in is only about 150 miles away. A lot of folks wouldn't get too excited about a ewe tag but I love sheep hunting! All the thrill of hunting sheep without waiting 30 years to draw a ram tag. I was fortunate enough to take a ewe in Colorado about ten years ago with a recurve. The tag is good for both archery and rifle season but I'm still undecided on what I will use this year. If I don't get one during archery I'm not sure if I'll use a muzzleloader or centerfire handgun. I'll have to wait and see what weapon is grabbing my attention at the time.
