Ammo is factory from same lot as I have been shooting. It only had 3 rounds thru it since the last serious cleaning before this range session. The base is standard ruger and I checked the base with a screw driver. I always put a little torque seal on my bases to show if a screw has backed out and witness marks on the rings and scopes to test for shift. I never liked the ruger base rings since day one. I think I will order the weigand base and do a three ring set up on it. I will re clean it and back to the range. Bummed out as I am down to 3 days of my hunting season left. I am leaving town and wont be back till after the first of the year so I guess I have all off season to ge the bugs worked out. And this thing was a tack driver. Thanks for the ideas guys. Rod, which base would you recommend and where can I find them?
